Mission Statement

Our mission is

To advance the understanding of Pick’s disease, one of the most rare forms of dementia; To create the world’s largest cohort of postmortem Pick’s disease samples and biospecimens; To conduct genetic studies and determine disease etiology and pathogenesis; To inform into the development of improved therapies for patients.

Our Goals

  • Research - To conduct multi-omics research studies on the largest Pick’s disease cohort described to date.

  • Discovery - To support discovery of Pick’s disease risk factors, pathophysiology, and underlining disease mechanisms with the aim of improving patient outcomes.

  • Education - To provide education for researchers and physicians.

  • Awareness - To increase awareness of Pick’s disease.
